How to Create a Price Alert for a Selected Instrument in the IPT

Step 1. Locate the instrument that you want to create a price alert for. This can either be done by pulling up an already existing market list or select instruments in your own watchlist:

 

 

Step 2. Right click on your selected instrument in your corresponding window, navigate to “Create Alert”, and select your choice of preference:

 

 

Note: As you can see from the above picture, I right clicked on NIBE B.

 

Step 3. Depending on what type of alert you want to create, you might choose a different option than me here. However, I went ahead and selected “Advanced” because it allows you to create a more specified alert:

 

 

Step 4. Once you have filled in/filtered your alert parameters, go ahead a press “OK” to create the alert.

 

Note: To view your newly created alert (and already existing ones), you can navigate to the main bar in the top left corner, select “Tools”, and choose “Alert Manager” under “Utilities”:

 

 

An even faster way is to use the shortcut “CTRL” + “SHIFT” + “L” to open the “Alert Manager”:
